Designed for parents, guardians and adults, this workshop with climate campaigner, Mim Saxl will look at ways to engage children in issues of climate change that are safe and empowering.
As the mother to two young girls, environmental consultant and longtime climate campaigner, Mim Saxl has been particularly interested in the topic of climate anxiety over the last few years. Join her as she shares some of her findings and key current thinking from this fast-evolving area and explore how we can listen to, engage and seek to safeguard the wellbeing of the next generation, whilst avoiding the pretence that everything is ‘just fine’.
A free workshop with Low Carbon West Oxford, in partnership with IF Oxford Science & Ideas Festival.
