Annie is growing up in Norfolk where the strange and ghostly is never far away. On the night of a great storm she must face her fears and run for help.

Kevin Crossley-Holland lives on the north Norfolk coasts and brings the lonely marshes and the local legends to life.

Waterslain Angels continues the story of Annie in a full-length novel. Growing up in Norfolk just after the end of World War Two, she is determined to solve the mystery of the angels who are missing from Waterslain church.
